Blog surfing, I came across this post here. Reading this story brought tears to my eyes. If you have a moment, and a spare card, PLEASE, send one to this family.
As a mother of 4, and the mom of a NICU baby, I know how hard it is for these parents. Even though Dominic's problems were no where near this bad, for us, it was the end of the world. I can only imagine how hard it is for this family.
If you can, please send a card. The blog creator is offering awesome blog candy...but that shouldn't be your only reason for sending the card. I know it will touch the parents more than you know.
Hugs,
Karie
Our Mission
Our mission is simple. I would like to provide each and every parent of a NICU baby with a completed scrapbook page. So many parents with children in NICU don’t get to touch, hold, kiss or sadly, bring their baby home; a pre-made scrapbook page allowing them to slip a picture of their precious little one is perfect. Parents can hang it on their baby’s crib/incubator and eventually take it home with them to place in a scrapbook or frame.
Please CONTACT ME (click on the contact me button on the side bar) if you are interested in donating a premade page or any items that we can use to make more pages. We will glady use any items, cards, prayer cards or page protectors that you can spare! Contact me if you have any questions. Thank you so much!
All pages and cards are being donated to the Good Sam hospital NICU in Cincinnati, OH.
